This week we discuss the rise in hate crimes against Asian American’s all across the country since the start of the pandemic and stand in solidarity with them as they fight this all too familiar battle. We also discuss the hesitancy about taking vaccines in the Black community and break down the difference in coverage between Republican reluctance and African American reluctance. Last we talk about how the Tuskegee Experiment affects all of this and challenge those who believe that the conclusion to be drawn from a 40 year experiment on poor black men that DENIED them access to proper treatment (for syphilis) should used as an excuse to voluntarily deny yourself a vaccine for a disease that is disproportionately killing people in your community.
